The Association shall be represented in its governing council by
1) President, 2) Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Members.
2) Soon after the Governing Council is formed it shall have a meeting with the previous Council at which the retiring office bearers shall hand over the charge to the new office bearers, respectively.
3) The Governing Council shall have and exercise all powers necessary to carry out the objects of the Association at the General Body Meeting and compiled as rules of the Association.
4) The Governing Council inter alia, control the funds of the Association and makes necessary disbursement and investments, being held responsible to the Association for the purpose of indemnisation for any loss or waste of money due to negligence, misconduct or extravagance.
5) The Governing Council shall submit to the Annual General Body Meeting report of the activities of the Association together with the statements of accounts duly audited by the Auditors appointed by the Association.
6) The Governing Council shall cause to be opened one or more Bank Accounts in the name of the Association to be operated by any two of the following : 1)President or 2) Vice-President or 3) Secretary and 4) Treasurer.
7) All resolutions of the Governing Council shall be declared duly carried if passed by a simple majority.
8) The Governing Council shall meet not less than six times in each scholastics term. The quorum for the meeting shall be four. If adjourned for wont of quorum, the meeting shall be held half an hour later and the business of the meeting shall be transacted by the members present during the entire meeting.
9) At least five clear days notice of the meeting of the Governing Council shall be given to the members thereof, this may be waived in case of an urgent meeting provided all the members are duly notified.
10) Vacancies, if any, in the Governing Council of the Association occurring during the period between two annual general body meetings shall be filled by co-option by the Governing Council from among the member school. However if the office of the President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer falls vacant, the Governing Council shall appointed suitable substitution from among the elected members of the Governing Council. The Governing Council shall have power to function, notwithstanding, and pending, the filling in of any vacancy threin.
